The History of Ashtray Studios and Jesse B Dawg
Jesse B dawg a.k.a. Jesse Bennett born 1989 December 13 Spokane Washington. it all started with a couple of homies rapping in the basement over some really Jenky gear. then that evolved into a record label and me ultimately sitting around making beats all day. the first recording session I was ever in was with some dude named "Rockstar" it was on a cool edit Pro set up he charge me a quarter ounce of weed to record one song ,that song was called "straight Insane". me and "Rockstar" eventually met our differences and split ways he started his own studio and I started my own. thus born into the picture JBD productions. JBD productions started as just me and a couple a Homies like I said in my basement rapping on my Jenky set up. I knew my set up was less than acceptable so I started putting all my hustling money into my studio I wanted to have the best studio in the Northwest region. I felt that a lot of the people around me were just playing around with recording nothing serious nobody was making their own beats nobody was into music or the production parts of that they were just into the rapping part of it. so instead of just sitting around and being useless ,i motivated myself I started making beats I started rapping I started caring about nobody else except for myself which has been just about the best thing that ever happened To my career. since the beginning my production label has evolved from a small one or two man set up to a full-fledged 24 track recording studio. Now that is an accomplishment in my book!. I've worked with so many different musicians it's crazy I've seen musicians from all around the spectrum, throwing me a genre i havent worked with already, is highly unlikely. If you would ask me back in 2008 where I would be today I would've probably replied with dead in a ditch somewhere or in jail but now that I found music in my life that's not the reality, I love each and everyone of my fans like they were family if you can feel the things that I'm saying in a song then you have been there like me. you know what it's like to be unwanted to feel ugly to feel Hated to feel not in the right place and if you can feel that shit, then I can feel you. this is truly been a pleasure letting you Enter into my mind like this ,it doesn't happen a lot but when it does I really try my best to express to u guys how I feel. , This Is Ashtray Studios and our Time Is Now
